1st Lingwood and Strumpshaw Air Scout Hut Window Replacement
When the Lingwood Scout Hut needed repairs to ensure the future of the club, First Home Improvements stepped up and replaced every single pane window of their hut with brand new white uPVC double-glazed windows, ensuring the scouts have a safe and warm environment in which to continue learning and help leave the world a little better than they found it.
Norwich Open Christmas
We were proud to sponsor Norwich Open Christmas in 2019, donating over £1000 to help support this free event that hosted over 550 guests at St Andrews Hall in Norwich.
The event was in its 28th year and anyone who was alone or homeless on Christmas Day was offered a free day of entertainment, lunch and dinner.
Mrs Fox organiser said “There are fewer homeless people who come and more families who can’t always afford to eat. The expectation on Christmas Day is now so high, and that means that it becomes very expensive, especially if you have children.”
Christmas can be isolating but this local charitable event brings the community together to show that it is a time to support, give and help people.
Lowestoft and Gorleston Football Club Sponsorship
We have supported Lowestoft and Gorleston football clubs for several years; we understand that these local clubs are essential to children who live locally. By providing new equipment and kit we ensure that the team have the best opportunities to provide children with a fully equipped and fun place to play football.
East Anglian Air Ambulance Fundraising
Our staff are continually raising funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance EAAA hosting a range of events across our offices including sweepstakes, the Great First Bake Off and dress down in jeans Fridays. All a bit of fun whilst supporting a great charity.
Fire Brigade Donations
First Home Improvements work alongside our local fire brigade supplying them with entry doors from our old product lines. These doors are used alongside their service engineer training in order to improve access techniques. A vital part of training and both a great way to show our support to the fire services and environmental responsibility in a form of recycling.
